Travel and Visa Information

Citizens of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) do not require a visa or entry permit to travel to Nigeria.

All visitors not exempted from entry permits are advised to apply and obtain appropriate visas from Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) before entry into the country.

Some business travellers are eligible to apply for a visa on arrival. Check the visa conditions on the NIS website.

If applying from the UK, please note that visa applications are now handled by Online Integrated Solutions (OIS) at 56-57 Fleet Street, London, EC4Y 1JU. Visa applicants are no longer required to pay the Nigeria High Commission processing fees.

Visa invitation letter to the AVCA Annual Conference

To acquire a visa letter for the Annual AVCA Conference & VC Summit in Lagos, please complete the Visa Letter Request form and allow 48 hours for a member of our team to get back to you.

Kindly note that visa letters can only be issued once a valid ticket has been purchased.
