Travel and Visa Information

Citizens of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) do not require a visa or entry permit to travel to Nigeria.

All citizens of non-ECOWAS member states must apply for and obtain the appropriate visa from the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) before traveling to Nigeria. Apply via this portal.

Visa on Arrival (VOA): Available to conference delegates of all nationalities.

Early application is advisable to avoid any delays.

Visa invitation letter to the AVCA Annual Conference

To acquire a visa letter for the Annual AVCA Conference & VC Summit in Lagos, please complete the Visa Letter Request form and allow 48 hours for a member of our team to get back to you.

Kindly note that visa letters can only be issued once a valid ticket has been purchased.

Health Screening

The Nigeria Health Declaration Form must be completed by all incoming passengers to Nigeria. Paper-based versions will be provided on arrival in Nigeria for passengers unable to complete the form. Check the latest vaccine recommendations for Nigeria.
